January 10 ~ General Membership Meeting and dinner in honor of Barron Oda, a 2006 Intern, at the home of Karen Uemoto.
April 16 ~ General Membership Meeting and election of Officers convened at the home of Karen Uemoto. 10 AM. New Chapter Officers can be seen here. Coming events include the Lei Draping Ceremony at the Capitol on June 5, 2011, the annual Aloha Scholarship Golf Tournament in September 2011, and the Solar Decathlon in DC from September 23 to October 2, 2011.August 27 ~ General Membership Meeting at the home of Ernie and Carol Takafuji to discuss arrival of interns, golf tournament, party planning, etc
September 8 ~ Our friend Captain Charles L. Tompkins, U.S.Navy (retired) was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.September 10 ~ Byron and 'T' Shorter hosted a potluck Hawaiian Affair at their home in honor of the 2011 Interns, Harley Diven and Jasmine Fernandez.
September 16 ~ 14th Annual Aloha Scholarship Charity Golf Tournament at Virginia Oaks Golf Course, Gainesville, Virginia. 1 PM Shotgun Start.
