UHAA-NCRC Board of Directors met this past Saturday, April 26, 2003.

One of the main points of discussion was the length of the Presidency and my successor.

It was agreed that the Presidency will be 1 year vice 2 years, and a change will be made to the By-Laws.

I announced that Tony Moreno will succeed me as President in September '03, and Karen Uemoto agreed to succeed Tony in Sep '04, unless the incumbent volunteers for a second year.

Karen Uemoto is now in charge of the Intern Program; assisting her will be Take Toma.

Dan Kam has volunteered to be my replacement at the upcoming UHAA Chap Presidents' Meeting, May 19 & 20.

Bob Rice will open a "newsletter corner/column" on the website. Please pass any information or story to Bob.

Donna Feely will seek an editor for our newsletter (hardcopy). Will talk to Sue Roth????

Will continue to focus on Golf tournament(Sep 15); intern program; and seminars/socials.

Karyn Rinaldi prepared a response to the UH Logos proposal.
"Responding to overwhelming opposition to the proposed logos for the University of Hawai'i system, UH President Evan Dobelle subsequently pulled the plug on both, saying "they don't work" and don't meet his common sense rule."
