Rules of
Play
“Captain’s
Choice” or “scramble” format. One team
score is taken for each hole. Choose
best shot of group and play from that spot; repeat until team holes out, for a maximum score of double bogey. PLEASE PICK UP AFTER DOUBLE BOGEY.
Men use
BLACK MIDDLE TEES, Women use SILVER FRONT TEES.
Preferred
lie within 1 club-length of original ball, no closer to hole and from the same
terrain (e.g., cannot move from rough to fairway or fringe to green).
MULLIGANS
may NOT be used for PUTTING or for PAR 3 TEE SHOTS.
Teams
with 3 players may play a fourth shot, with players in the group taking turns
as the “fourth player.”
In other words, one
designated player plays an entire hole as the “fourth” player in
addition to playing his own shot; on the subsequent hole, another player is the
designated the “fourth” player, and so on.
A team is
eligible for only one team prize, with gross prize assuming precedence. All
disputes and unforeseen eventualities will be resolved in the spirit of aloha
by the Golf Competition Committee.
